Banijay Brands, the commercial arm of media and entertainment powerhouse Banijay, and the mobile game developer and publisher Qiiwi Games, today announce the global launch of match-3 game Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, on August 14, 2023. In partnership with Banijay Brands and American host Ty Pennington, Qiiwi Games has developed the game based on the hit global renovation show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Ty Pennington acts as the main character in the game and stands side-by-side with the player on their journey to help families in need.
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition launches globally on August 14, 2023
The immediately recognizable sound of Ty's "Good Morning!" became an unmistakable sign of hope for families during his time on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Now, Ty is fronting Qiiwi Games' largest game development investment to date!
The game began its soft launch at the beginning of the year and has since been evaluated primarily in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway and Denmark. During the soft launch, the game has shown strong key figures related to retention and monetization/conversion of buyers, exceeding previous soft-launched games in Qiiwi Games' 11-year history.
Initially, the main focus will be increasing the game's Daily Active Users (DAU) in the American market via conventional marketing/User Acquisition (UA). In addition to this, Ty Pennington and Banijay will promote the game on their social media channels.
